How It Works
Three Steps. Head And All.
TICKler is engineered to slide under the tick and lift it cleanly. No twisting. No squeezing. No regrets.
01
Slide
Position the open notch of TICKler against the skin and slide it forward beneath the tick. Aim for the tick's mouthparts — as close to the skin as possible.
- Stay calm and steady the area.
- Use a flat surface or skin to brace.
- Avoid pinching the tick's body.
02
Lift
Apply gentle, steady upward pressure. Let the tool — not your grip — do the work. The tick will release without tearing.
- Don't twist or jerk the tool.
- Keep pressure perpendicular to the skin.
- Patience prevents pieces left behind.
03
Remove
Lift the tick away in one smooth motion. Inspect the bite to ensure the head was removed. Clean the bite area with soap and water or an antiseptic wipe.
- Save the tick in a sealed bag if you need ID.
- Wash hands thoroughly.
- Monitor the bite area for changes.

After Removal
What To Do Next
- Clean the bite area with soap and water.
- Apply an antiseptic if available.
- Note the date and location of the bite.
- Watch for rash, fever, or flu-like symptoms over the following weeks.
- Contact a healthcare professional if symptoms appear.
